Northwest Florida Regional/Community Meeting

The Higher Education Coordinating Council (HECC) has set a statewide goal for educational attainment of 55 percent by 2025. The initiative campaign, RISE to 55 (Resourcing Industry for a Stronger Economy) is designed to raise awareness and empower community partners throughout the state to become champions of this goal.

On Monday, November 13, 2017, there will be a Northwest Florida community meeting that includes a luncheon for the purpose of discussing attainment strategies for the Bay County area. This a public meeting. Among the participants will be:

  • Jimmy Patronis, Chief Financial Officer, State of Florida
  • Madeline Pumariega, Chancellor, Florida College System
  • Dr. John Holdnak, President, Gulf Coast State College
  • Dr. Randy Hanna, Dean, Florida State University – Panama City Campus
