Florida Higher Education Coordinating Council will meet in Tallahassee, Florida on August 14, 2017, at 9:00 a.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss progress on the strategic plan for the Statewide Degree Attainment and Completion Goal. The members will also further develop regional partnerships, plans and programs to effectively communicate the importance of preparing our students to pursue and complete a postsecondary education, preparing them for the workforce and individual success.

The Council has adopted a goal of 55% of Florida’s population ages 25 to 64 would attain a postsecondary certificate or degree by the year 2025. This meeting is a public meeting.
