Meeting was canceled

The Florida Higher Education Coordinating Council will meet in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.

The Council has adopted a goal of 55% of Florida’s population ages 25 to 64 would attain a postsecondary certificate or degree by the year 2025.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss progress of the Statewide Attainment Initiative (Rise to 55) and to review a draft final report on grant funding for the project. The members will also further develop regional partnerships, plans and programs to effectively communicate the importance of preparing our students to pursue and complete a postsecondary education, preparing them for the workforce and individual success.

This meeting is a public meeting. An agenda will be published closer to the actual meeting date.

This HECC meeting date coincides with the 2018 Florida College Access Network Summit being held at the same location, May 10-11, 2018. For information about the FCAN event please visit their website.
